Why me
2011-12-27 14:47:58 | Comments »This list is a compilation of “why me”-s.
- I keep my UX Principles (It’s a good list)
- I have lots of ideas (These ideas solve problems, create user satisfaction, customer retention and more.)
- I’m creative (Both my parents are art teachers and hold their own exhibitions. I’ve been also involved in drawing competitions and reached great results.)
- I’m organised and precise (My father is also a math teacher next to being an art teacher. He used to say that math is art and I believe him.)
- I’m able to see the big picture (Seeing the big picture makes me feel like a king.)
- My skills are cross-disciplinary. (I have experience in business, marketing, branding, social media, web design, web development, mobile, ecommerce, membership, art and of course User Experience design)
- I respect people.
- I’m friendly.
- I’m able to relate things to other things (Eg UX is related to Business, but Business is related to Design too. Business is related to life. Life is related to family. Things are absolutely interrelated.)
- I’m hard working.
- I finish things (Seth Godin calls this shipping.)
- I concentrate on my MIT-s (MIT stands for Most Important Task that you want to reach at a given day. There is a great article you can read on the subject at LifeHacker.)
- I’m informed and always learning (currently learning from Seth Godin, Susan Weinschenk, Joshua Porter, Andrew Maier.)
- I want to influence others (Influencing others make me feel someone who count.)
- Acknowledgement drives me to create great things (It’s a motor for me.)
