What if you had a plugin you would activate and you could provide your readers the possibilities to take your article wherever they want on their mp3 players? Sounds nice right? Huh? How to make that? Well, you have the option to make as technologyreview does with a commercial audio podcasting service, namely: AudioDizer – Good news: there is a better option. It is called odiogo and it’s totally free! I’m not joking listen to my article by clicking on the “listen now” button under my title. I was very much surprised how easy it was to activate the plugin, it’s really hands on. So there you go, now you can have an automatic podcast service. The mp3 files are generated on the odiogo server and does not costs any bandwith. When playing your article you (may) hear an advertisement first and then the server decodes the text to real-sound speech. It’s realy great, I had fun signing up. You can do the same, it’s very easy and it does not cost you anything but it gives you an extra option for your readers, to be your listeners. Odiogo says if you generate enough traffic they will share the ad revenue, that makes the service even more awesome. Whether you will get extra revenue by podcasting or not, odiogo is free, and I really like it. Friends tell friends that there is odiogo!
